Product Lifecycle Status Terminology

Active Production: This product is currently in active production. It is fully supported and regularly updated, ensuring the best performance and latest features.

Built on Demand: This product is built on demand. Please allow additional lead time for manufacturing and delivery. Customization options may be available and MOQ’s may be enforced. Built on Demand can not be done on Beta or EOL products.

End of Life (EOL): This product has reached its end of life. New units are no longer produced as we sell off supply of existing inventory. Minimal support provided as we transition to active offerings for the most up-to-date solutions.

Not Recommended for New Designs (NRND): This product is in the sunsetting phase. While still available for purchase, it will receive limited support and updates and is not recommended for new designs. We recommend considering our latest alternatives. Consider using our latest products for better support and features.

Obsolete: This product is obsolete and no longer available for purchase or support. We suggest looking for newer alternatives that meet your needs.

Beta: This is a new product and not yet in active production as we continue development, bug reduction, and validation efforts. This is only sold to customers that understand Beta products are not supported, not fully documented yet, may change, and may cause unintended operations (software or hardware bugs) due to incomplete validation. We also request Beta customers provide useful feedback regarding their test and development efforts to help us improve our products in a timely manner.

PCN: Product Change Notice. This product is undergoing either a notable lifecycle change (planned obsolescence) or a planned design update/modification. This is the method how we will notify previous and current purchasers of a product about the lifecycle change(s). A design change will only occur from Active or NRND lifecycle phases, whereas Beta products may undergo changes at any time prior to Active Production, even if some older units have already been sold.

Ordering Terminology:

Lead Time: Lead time refers to the number of days or weeks that it will take for your product to be built, tested, and shipped after ordering.

Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ): This product has a minimum order quantity requirement. Ensure your order meets the MOQ to proceed with the purchase.
